AAM Introduces New Duel Drilled Dodge 9.25" 3.92 Ratio Ring and Pinion Gear Sets

Posted: August 17, 2016

DETROIT - Aug. 12, 2016 - American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM), a leading manufacturer of axle components, driveshaft components and repair kits for OE vehicles, has developed a new 9.25" gear set for the light duty Dodge/Chrysler corporate rear axles.

This 3.92 ratio gear set has two sets for holes for ring gear bolts. One set is US standard threads for vehicles made prior to 2011. The other set of bolt holes are metric and are used in vehicle produced 2012 or newer.

The part number for the 9.25" gear set with the dual drilled hole pattern is D925392GSKDD.

The D925392GSKDD gear set fits the Durango, Dakota, Ram1500 truck, Ramcharger and rear wheel drive passenger car applications from 1970 to current.

The "GSK" indicates the gear set will come as a kit with the pinion nut, spacer and washer included. These components must be used when installing this gear set because the pinion gear threads are not the same as the Dodge OE threads. The "DD" means it is dual drilled with two sets of bolt holes.

AAM parts are the built to the same OEM specifications that many shops have come to demand when installing replacement parts. AAM parts fit right, install right and perform right the first time. For more information and to find a local distributor, visit www.demandaam.com or email info@aam.com.
